Rammstein are a metal band from Berlin, Germany.

They released their debut album, 'Herzeleid', in 1995, and have since followed up with a further seven studio records, with the latest being 'Zeit' in 2022.

Renowned for their hugely theatrical stage shows (using so many pyrotechnics that on occasion fans have been carried out of live shows suffering from heat exhaustion!), they have received constant recognition for their performances with an endless stream of 'Best Live Act' awards.

Rammstein have announced an extensive European stadium tour for summer 2023, following a rescheduled North American run in summer and fall 2022. Catch them live by checking tour dates and ticket information below on Stereoboard.

rammstein leave the other bands in flames.
Donington Donnington park. on June 16 2013
I saw Rammstein at the Download festival at Donington park in 2013. It turned out to be the perfect fathers day gift. From the moment that I got through the security checks the atmosphere of the event rose up and hit me square in the chest. I walked down a long slope into the main field and I was overwhelmed by a feeling of total calm. It was like walking into another world. Even though there was the constant sound of all kinds of music coming from all directions it just felt like so peaceful.I spent the day checking out new bands, browsing through the many stalls and just getting the amazing smells from all the food vendors. The day moved along at a nice slow pace, and I managed to see a few good bands, Ghost being a particularly good one. Then before I knew it, Thirty Seconds To Mars were performing their set. I knew I now had to get as near to the main stage as I could, because Rammstein were coming up next. The crowd were in quite a frenzy when Rammstein opened their set. And what an opening!...Till Lindemann, the lead singer, came on to the stage standing on top of a flaming platform that was lowered from the rafters. Some of their popular songs like, SONNE DU HAST and ASCHE DU ASCHE were played and the hardcore fans were singing along to every one. First time fans were left gasping at their new heroes. The whole set was a mixture of great music, pyrotechnics and just pure theatre. The set came to an end, and hundreds of fans nearest to the stage were sprayed with foam during the song PUSSY.I went home that night totally buzzing from the days events and the sheer power and musical ability of the German rockers. I also made a lot of friends that night...90 thousand Downloaders. It was probably the greatest musical experience of my life...something that I would recommend to everybody.

Rammstein Photos: Paul Harries Along with thousands of others drawn to loud noises and explosions, I went to the Rammstein show in Cardiff last week. And now, thanks to the pyro-obsessed Berliners' massive, cudgelling riffs, I go about my life in a perpetual state of headbanging—headbanging while having a shower, headbanging while walking to the shop, headbanging while I drive to work, headbanging while I brush my teeth. It’s debilitating. Please, rock gods, I have a family to feed.

Rammstein Photo: Bryan Adams With the German metal titans having taken a decade to follow 2009’s ‘Liebe ist für alle da’ with 2019’s untitled album, nobody expected a new Rammstein album so soon, and there was naturally a worry that the band might be phoning it in with such a short turnaround. But they have never been ones to do what is expected, and with ‘Zeit’ they’re again out to prove that.
