Legendary shock-rocker Alice Cooper is rumoured as support for Mötley Crüe on their farewell trek, after a promo poster for what's being dubbed as Crüe's The Final Tour emerged online.
 Blabbermouth report that Eddie Trunk - VH1 Classic's That Metal Show co-host and radio DJ - has tweeted what appears to be an official promo poster for Crüe's farewell tour, which will apparently feature Alice Cooper as a special guest.
There has been no official word from either Cooper or Crüe. The US rock icons are set to officially drop details of a new tour at an LA event on January 28. Titled RIP: All Bad Things Must Come To An End, the event is rumoured to be a press conference to confirm dates for a farewell world tour.
Crüe have already stated that a farewell tour is in the pipeline. Drummer Tommy Lee recently spoke out about the band's future plans, confirming that their next global trek will be the last:
“The farewell tour is next. This will be it. Our guitar player, Mick, he has a spinal disease that’s slowly fusing his vertebrae together. It’s one of those things that’s treatable, but not curable. So it’s just progressively getting really worse and it’s painful for him, so he doesn’t wanna tour much longer. I can’t say I blame him… The last thing we ever wanna do is go out running on two cylinders with some hired guy playing guitar; that’s just wack. So we wanna go out with one big hurrah with the original guys and be done with it."
While Crüe will keep the option of holding one-off reunion shows open, the band have insisted that their farewell tour will be for "real" and they won't hold multiple farewell tours.
