Alice Cooper Tease First Original Band Album In Over 50 Years With New Single Wild Ones

The reunited original Alice Cooper Group have shared another single from their upcoming album.
Rife with raw rock 'n' roll energy and gritty guitars, the driving Wild Ones is inspired by the rebellious spirit of the 1953 film The Wild One, starring Marlon Brando. A statement accompanying the release reads:
"Inspired by the iconic 1953 film The Wild One starring Marlon Brando, the track captures the same defiant spirit that once shocked middle America and defined a generation. With snarling guitars, pounding drums, and Alice’s unmistakable snarl front and centre, Wild Ones isn’t just a song, it’s a statement."
The track follows Black Mamba in previewing 'The Revenge of Alice Cooper', due out on July 25 via earMUSIC. Produced by longtime collaborator Bob Ezrin, the album marks the first time all four surviving members of the original Alice Cooper band—Cooper, guitarist Michael Bruce, bassist Dennis Dunaway and drummer Neal Smith—have recorded together in 52 years.
The record also includes a special appearance by late Cooper guitarist Glen Buxton, who died in 1997, on the track What Happened To You.
Cooper, whose latest studio album is 2023's 'Road', will join metal legends Judas Priest for a co-headline show at London's O2 Arena on July 25, following his own headline shows at Cardiff's Utilita Arena on July 22 and the Edinburgh Playhouse on July 23. These mark the 77-year-old's only performances in Wales and Scotland this year.
The veteran shock rocker will also head out for an extension of his Too Close For Comfort Tour across the US in the summer, before reuniting with Priest for a co-headline North American tour in September and October. Tickets are on sale now.
