The reunited original Alice Cooper Group have announced details of an exclusive live event in London next month.
In celebration of their reunion, the four surviving members of the original Alice Cooper band—Cooper, guitarist Michael Bruce, bassist Dennis Dunaway and drummer Neal Smith — will appear for a special event at Union Chapel on July 24. The next day they'll release 'The Revenge Of Alice Cooper', their first studio album in over 50 years, which is due out on July 25.
The intimate evening, limited to just 900 fans, will feature an exclusive first playback of the Bob Ezrin-produced record, an interview with the band, and an audience Q&A session, hosted by Sir Tim Rice. There will also be some tales from the road.
Tickets go on general sale at 10am on Wednesday (June 11). The event will also be livestreamed globally via the earMUSIC and Alice Cooper's YouTube channels, as well as TalkShopLive.
Singles already shared from 'The Revenge Of Alice Cooper' include Wild Ones and Black Mamba. The record also includes a special appearance by late Cooper guitarist Glen Buxton, who died in 1997, on the track What Happened To You.
Cooper, whose latest studio album is 2023's 'Road', will team up with metal giants Judas Priest for a co-headline show at the O2 Arena in London on July 25. He'll also headline his own gigs at Cardiff's Utilita Arena on July 22 and the Edinburgh Playhouse on July 23, marking the 77-year-old's only performances in Wales and Scotland this year.
The veteran shock rocker will also head out for an extension of his Too Close For Comfort Tour across the US this summer, before reuniting with Priest for co-headline North American tour dates in September and October. Tickets are on sale now.
