The story, which is told through a series of clips on social media, follows Noodle, who has left her home of Plastic Beach in search of safety, but years later finds herself battling Mazuu, a shape-shifting devil.
Prior to the release, Gorillaz had been dormant for almost five years, with only teasers of artwork and mentions of their return during interviews bridging the gap since their last album, 2011's 'The Fall'.
