Folly and The Hunter are a Canadian indie folk band from Montreal consists of singer and lyicist Nick Vallee, drummer Laurie Torres, banjo and pump organist Christopher Fox and guitarist Phil Creamer.
Formed in 1998, the band self-released their debut album, ‘Residents’, in 2011. They then signed to Outside Music and released the album, ‘Tragic Care’ in 2013. In 2015 they released their third album, ‘Awake’, which was mostly written whilst the band were on tour in Europe. The band have headlined their own shows and tours across the North American and Europe, as well as having performed festivals such as SXSW, as well as having supported the likes of Half Moon Run and The Barr Brothers.
