Rick Astley and Blossoms, after a surprise covers performance during Blossoms' London show in September 2021, announced two special shows in which they will perform the songs of iconic British band, The Smiths.

The Smiths are one of the most-loved indie bands in British history, with the songs of Morrissey and Johnny Marr still remaining incredibly popular, generations after the band's split in 1987. Some of their biggest hits include This Charming Man, There Is A Light That Never Goes Out and Please Please Please Let Me Get What I Want, among many others.

Rick Astley—most famous for his hit Never Gonna Give You Up—has released a total of eight full-length records across his career including, most recently, 2018's 'Beautiful Life'.

Blossoms are a Mercury Prize-nominated band from Stockport, with two number one albums already under their belt, along with a sold out arena tour.
