The duo met at a rodeo as teenagers, forming the band in 2015. They went on to release their debut album, '1000 Gecs', in 2019—followed by remixed version of the record in 2020, with their second studio album, '10,000 Gecs', following in 2022. The band have also collaborated with the likes of Fall Out Boy, Craig Owens and 3OH!3. 100 Gecs have cancelled their UK and European Tour that was planned for October 2023.
