10cc are an English soft rock band from Stockport, Cheshire, consisting of founding member Graham Gouldman, alongside Rick Fenn, Paul Burgess, Mick Wilson, and Mike Stevens.
Formed in 1972 by Gouldman, alongside Eric Stewart, Kevin Godley, and Lol Creme. The band released their debut self-titled album in 1973, and went on to release a further 10 albums, the latest being 1995’s ‘Mirror Mirror’.
The band split in 1976, after the recording of, ‘How Dare You!’, but Stewart and Gouldman, continued on as 10cc. They reunited in 1991, to record ‘...Meanwhile’, and the band split again in 1995. Gouldman put together a new version of the band in 1999 and continues to tour to this day.
10cc head out on tour in autumn 2018. Catch them live by checking out the tour dates and ticket information below on Stereoboard.
Birmingham Birmingham Symphony Hall on April 12 2017
Expert, experienced and joyful musicians providing delicious, layered harmonies. Along with Graham Gouldman, (lovely bloke!) one of the original founding members, are other longstanding touring band members. Paul Burgess (drums) with them since 1973; Rick Fenn (guitarist), since 1976 and multi-instrumentalists with the band 10+ years: Keith Hayman and their Lead singer Mick Wilson, who has the enchanting voice of an angel. Another original member Kevin Godley contributed a sweetly-sung number (accompanied by the live band) via projected video. Band members talked about the music/their history which really engages the audience; and they bothered to stay behind and sign official merch. Best band I've enjoyed seeing but at least cost: go figure?!
Get the Live in Europe CD (comprises two CDs for only £15!): you will discover/keep the concert buzz alive with its crystal clear sound/studio level quality (and minimum audience noise), but with added mellifluous dimensions to any studio albums you may have of them!
Arrived too late to see the supporting Act Iain Hornal, shame as he was the fabulous crystal clear lead vocals supporting Jeff Lynne's ELO I saw last year.
Once again at Gateshead Sage fabulous show, wait for it every year, every year a sell out. Just goes to show what an incredible talented band they are. They also spend an hour AFTER the show meeting fans and signing anything. How lucky am I to have followed them for 44 years!!!!
Fantastic night what a brilliant band . One of the best live gigs I have seen, seen them 3 times now cannot wait for a fourth Graham Gouldman is such a prolific song writer and talented artist along with the other guys who are all talented musicians the concert starts with the complete sheet music album and then progresses in the second half to all the hits 10cc had what a night the whole place was rocking
Brilliant 5stars can't wait to see again well worth it. Really enjoy the second spot with the 70s classics, a fantastic jaunt down memory lane. Donna in acapella show you've still got what it takes. One up for the oldies. Please could you next come to Sheffield.
We have seen 10CC 7 times and each time we see them they are a musical delight that never disappoints. Although they bang out their old stuff the repertoire is always creatively put together and the recent introduction of back screens and lasers only enhanced an already fantastic show. Thank you 10CC
