New York DJ and TV personality Megatron has been shot dead in New York. The music personality, who was born Corey McGriff, was found dead with a gunshot wound in his chest, according to police reports. The 32-year-old was shot while walking to a shop near his home on Staten Island in New York. The incident occurred during the early hours of yesterday morning (March 27th).

Canadian hardcore punkers Fucked Up have revealed details of their new album ‘David Comes to Life’, which is due for release on 7th June. The album is named after a track on their 2006 debut ‘Hidden World’ and has been described as a punk rock opera. A new song entitled ‘The Other Shoe’, which will be included on ‘David Comes to Life’, can be heard on the Matador Records website.
