Eric Clapton has announced a series of London concerts in celebration of his 70th birthday on March 30, 2015.
The British guitar legend will play the iconic Royal Albert Hall on May 14, 15, 17 and 18, accompanied by his band members Paul Carrack, Steve Gadd, Nathan East, Chris Stainton, Sharon White and Michelle John. Tickets for all dates are on sale at 9am on October 24.
The new shows will also mark another milestone; 50 years since Clapton first played at the Royal Albert Hall. His debut was on December 7, 1964, performing as a member of the Yardbirds for BBC TV's, Top Beat Show.
