Anxious have shared another single, Secret Weapon.
Building on last month's release, Don't Move, the two alt-rock tracks deliver a melodic, guitar-driven sound and mark the Connecticut punks' first new music since last year's sophomore album, 'Bambi'. Guitarist and co-vocalist Dante Melucci said:
"The 'Secret Weapon' is the business of music, the weaponization of the stats and current fads to decide who you are as an artist, and who you should strive to be. I’m seeing artists with this objectivity in their style, their songs, that to me just comes across as desperate; I don’t believe that something beautiful can be created in a lab."
It arrives amid the band's North American dates suporting label mates Citizen, alongside Hotline TNT, Rocket and Cryogeyser. They'll also play Best Day Ever in Bloomington, Indiana on October 3.
