Eric Clapton has announced a performance in Norfolk next summer. Eric Clapton tickets go on general sale at 9am today.
The legendary guitarist will play an exclusive outdoor show at the Royal Sandringham Estate on August 23, with special guests to be announced.
The performance marks the first announcement for the 2026 Heritage Live concert series at the Estate, which is scheduled to run from August 20 to 23. Giles Cooper of Heritage Live Festivals commented:
"Eric Clapton is one of the greatest musicians of all time and it’s a dream come true for all of us at Heritage Live Festivals to have him play at The Sandringham Estate for us next August. It’s going to be such a special and unique event - one of those gigs where you say in years to come ‘I was there!’. We just can’t wait!"
The 80-year-old, who also has European shows lined up for next spring, played his only UK dates of this year in Nottingham and London in May. He released his latest album, and 22nd overall, 'Meanwhile', in 2024.
Also set to headline Heritage Live shows next summer are Faithless, Richard Ashcroft, Ministry Of Sound Classical, and UB40 featuring Ali Campbell, all of whom will perform at Englefield Estate near Reading. Scissor Sisters, The Streets, Pete Tong Ibiza Classics, and Faithless are confirmed to perform at the series at the Audley End Estate in Saffron Walden in Essex. Tickets are on sale now.
