Soccer Mommy Returns With First New Song In Two Years Rings Of Saturn

Soccer Mommy has returned with Rings of Saturn, her first song in two years.
Produced by Rosalía and Björk collaborator Elliott Kozel, the melancholy, guitar-driven track is decribed by the Nashville-based artist, whose real name is Sophie Allison, as being "about feeling lost and looking for hope from anywhere."
She continued: "I wrote it during a difficult time when I would often take my telescope out into the yard to look at the moon or at planets. There’s something about feeling small that can kind of take the weight off.”
Allison released her latest album, 'Evergreen', in 2024, followed by the 'Evergreen (Stripped)' acoustic EP last year and a 10th anniversary edition of her album 'For Young Hearts' last month.
She'll join Snail Mail for a co-headline US tour this fall, having recently supported Liz Phair and Sleater-Kinney at two shows on their joint Flannel and the Fury Tour. Head here for details.
