Soccer Mommy is the project of Nashville based Sophie Allison.
Hving played music since the age of six, and in her teenage years only posted songs online until she cut her teeth in her local DIY scene, going to shows and hanging out with other musicians.
Initially a bedroom project, Soccer Mommy is now a full-time band with a new studio-album debut, 'Clean', which gained high critical praise, and seemed a natural progression for the songwriter.
Soccer Mommy has been out on tour a lot too, and supported Phoebe Bridgers on tour in 2017, as well as playing UK headline dates surrounding her new album too, hitting Leeds, London, Manchester and Brighton in March before another cluster of UK dates in autumn.
Seeing out 2018 she plays more US shows and then in 2019, she'll head to Australia, before returning for more US shows. Catch her live by checking out the tour dates and concert ticket information below on Stereoboard.

At Thekla, Bristol’s famous floating venue, Soccer Mommy’s Your Dog gets the best reaction from the crowd. Its sentiments reach further than its three minutes of poppy guitar licks as Sophie Allison tells us: “I don't wanna be your fucking dog.”

According to Soccer Mommy, guitar music is dead as a mode of pop. And that’s something that makes Sophie Allison’s music so intriguing. Her honest lyrics, about the insecurities of being a young woman, come across like a sweary Taylor Swift after a couple of pints of cider with Ed Sheeran. But she has no designs on the top 10. Her style of music places her firmly in the alternative world, where a voice such as hers has traditionally had to work harder to be taken seriously.
