Fran Healy Announces Two UK Shows, Details Of New Single 'Fly In The Ointment' & Tickets

Fran Healy, lead singer and main songwriter of hugely successful rock band Travis, is excited to announce the release of new single 'Fly In The Ointment' from his debut solo album entitled 'Wreckorder'. Set for a February 20th release on Healy’s own ‘Wreckord Label’ in association with ADA Global, 'Fly In The Ointment' is a brilliant swampy guitar fairytale. Known for songs such as 'All I Wanna Do Is Rock', 'Why Does It Always Rain On Me?', 'Driftwood' and 'Sing' to name but a few, Healy once again exemplifies his exceptional song writing prowess with this memorable track.
In support of the single release Healy is pleased to announce two very special UK shows in January 2011 with his new band and additional 4-piece string section. He will perform at The Celtic Connection in his hometown, Glasgow, on Sunday 30th January and then Dingwalls, London on Monday 31st January.
Fran Healy’s will be performing his solo acoustic show throughout Europe during February and March.
