Villagers, D.R.U.G.S, Little Comets Confirmed For Camden Crawl Festival 2011

Villagers, D.R.U.G.S and Little Comets have all been confirmed for this year’s Camden Crawl Festival. The festival takes place in dozens of venues over the borough of Camden, with ticket-holders granted open access to see performances all across the borough.

Also confirmed to play are current must-haves Frankie and the Heartstrings, Lethal Bizzle, The Chapman Family, Peggy Sue and acoustic up-and-comers Dry The River.

Championed by the likes of XFM’s John Kennedy, the festival prides itself on having a finger on the heartbeat of the British music scene, picking the best emerging talent before the acts hit the big time. Other acts confirmed for this year’s event include Hadouken!, Johnny Foreigner, Saint Etienne, Tanlines, S.C.U.M, Cete Le Bon and Dananananaykroyd.

The two day festival will take place from April 30th-May 1st. Fans can buy general sale tickets from £68.60, while day passes for both Saturday and Sunday are available for £42.65.

Meanwhile, Villagers have announced that they will be heading on tour once again this May. Undoubtedly one of the highlights of the Camden Crawl line-up, Conor O’Brien and co will begin an extensive jaunt in Preston on May 9th, ending in Manchester on May 24th.

Villagers will play the following May tour dates:

9th - Preston 53 Degrees
10th - Newcastle Riverside
17th - Birmingham Glee Club
18th - Bristol Trinity
19th - Colchester Arts Centre
21st - London O2 Shepherds Bush Empire
