Robbie Williams Plots Australian And New Zealand Leg Of BRITPOP World Tour For November

Robbie Williams has announced stadium shows in Australia and New Zealand.
TheGrammy-nominated and multi-BRIT-winning superstar will return Down Under with his BRITPOP World Tour, performing some of his biggest shows to date in the region.
The run will kick off at Adelaide Oval on November 7, followed by shows at Melbourne's Marvel Stadium, Sydney's Accor Stadium, Newcastle's McDonald Jones Stadium, Brisbane's Suncorp Stadium and Auckland's Eden Park, before wrapping up at Christchurch's One New Zealand Stadium on November 28. Williams said:
"Australia and New Zealand have always had a very special place in my heart. Ever since my first solo tours, you have welcomed me with open arms and made me feel at home. I’m beyond excited to be coming back this November for the BRITPOP World Tour. Can't wait to see you all there!"
Tickets go on general sale on March 26, at 1pm local time for the Melbourne, Brisbane, Auckland and Christchurch shows, with Adelaide and Newcastle on sale at 2pm local time, and Sydney on sale at 3pm local time.
The 52-year-old will also take the tour to South America in September and October, after previously scheduled European dates in the summer. Tickets for those shows are on sale now.
The BRITPOP World Tour takes its name from Williams' 13th solo studio album, 'BRITPOP', which he surprise released in January, followed by a deluxe edition a few days later.
He recently concluded a run of intimate UK shows, billed as The Long '90s Tour, performing the new album and his debut, 1997's 'Life Thru A Lens', in full.
Last month, he took to the stage at the BRIT Awards in the UK, leading an all-star band through a performance of Ozzy Osbourne's No More Tears in tribute to the late metal icon, who also posthumously received the Lifetime Achievement Award.
