Klaxons Cancel North American Tour

British electro-punks Klaxons have cancelled their upcoming North American tour. The band have cancelled 14 tour dates and an appearance at the famous Coachella music festival, citing “unforeseen circumstances” as the reason.

An official statement on the band’s Facebook page read: “Klaxons regret to announce the cancellation of their upcoming North American shows in March and April due to unforeseen circumstances. Anyone with a proof of purchase for their tickets is entitled to a free download of an exclusive song unavailable elsewhere. Email ticket scans or purchase confirmations to info@klaxons.net”

Fans were keen to show their disapproval at the decision, thinking that the band were refusing to give a refund for tickets but offering a new track as replacement. However, the band were quick to clear up the confusion, asserting that refunds would be available for all ticket-holders. The band are yet to give more details about the “unforeseen circumstances” which have provoked the tour’s cancellation.
