Soundgarden Announce US & Canadian Live Shows & Tickets

It’s been 14 years since Soundgarden played their final show together in Hawaii and today, fans have finally got the news they’ve been waiting for. Dates for a live tour!

Just four shows have been announced so far but more are expected to follow in the next few weeks for a full North American summer tour schedule. The dates begin in Toronto on 2nd July before moving through Philadelphia (13th), Denver (18th) and LA (22nd). Pre-sale for members of the Soundgarden fan club is open now with Denver tickets going on sale on 22nd April with the other three cities becoming available on 23rd.

After announcing they would re-form, Matt Cameron, Chris Cornell, Ben Shepard and Kim Thayi have kept fans waiting with many worrying the re-union might never get off the ground with no sign of dates or new tracks surfacing. However, the group have confirmed they are in a Seattle studio writing and recording what will become their first new album in over 15 years.

7/2/11 Toronto, ON @ Molson Canadian Amphitheatre 
7/13/11 Philadelphia, PA @ Festival Pier at Penn’s Landing 
7/18/11 Denver, CO @ Red Rocks Amphitheatre 
7/22/11 Los Angeles, CA @ The Forum
