Canadian indie-pop trio Young Galaxy have confirmed details of their new album ‘Shapeshifting’, which is due for release on 23rd May. ‘Shapeshifting’ is the group’s third album to date, following their eponymous debut and 2009’s ‘Invisible Republic’, which was longlisted for Canada’s prestigious Polaris Prize. See below for the full track listing of ‘Shapeshifting’ and to watch the video for album track ‘We Have Everything’.

Young Galaxy formed in Vancouver, Canada in 2005 but later moved to Montreal, where they recorded their first album. They have previously toured with the likes of Arcade Fire and Death Cab for Cutie.

Speaking about this album, Young Galaxy’s Stephen Ramsay said: “We're not going to do a Bowie - shave our eyebrows and rename ourselves. We didn't need to change our name. It feels true to us to be changers.”

The trio’s Catherine McCandless added: “To be the same people, at different coordinates - that feels very natural to me.”
