Cardiff-based indie-rock duo Toy Horses have received the approval of Stephen Fry in a tweet from the icon last weekend. The song is question, Toy Horses’ new track ‘What About the Future’, includes the lyrics: “We will both like Stephen Fry/He’s such a clever fucking guy”. Listen to the song below. Toy Horses released the single ‘Interrupt’ last month as well as their eponymous debut album, although ‘What About the Future’ was not included. The band coincided the album’s release with a UK tour throughout April.

‘Toy Horses’ was produced by former Wilco drummer Ken Coomer. The band received some early attention from US radio DJ Nic Harcourt, who has previously been credited with helping to launch Coldplay’s career and invited Toy Horses to perform at his SXSW showcase.
