The Travelling Band’s New Single ‘Fairweather Friends’ Out Monday – Watch Video Now

Manchester alt-folk quintet The Travelling Band are to release their brand new single ‘Fairweather Friends’ on Monday 23rd May, a week ahead of their new album ‘Screaming is Something’. ‘Fairweather Friends’ is also the opening track on the album, which is the band’s second to date following their 2008 debut ‘Under the Pavement’. The Travelling Band are currently on tour in the UK. See below for dates and tickets. They will also be performing at a number of festivals over the summer months including Eden Sessions, 2000 Trees, Standon Calling and Green Man.

ImageThe Travelling Band recorded their debut album ‘Under the Pavement’ in New York in 2006 and have since gathered a number of well-known fans of their music, including Glastonbury Festival’s Michael Eavis. The group have previously earned themselves BBC Radio 6’s ‘Album of the Day’ and Radio 2’s ‘Single of the Week’. One of their songs was included in the recent Ian Dury biopic ‘Sex & Drugs & Rock & Roll’.
