LMFAO To Headline March 2012 Cherrytree Pop Alternative Tour

Grammy-nominated hip-hop duo LMFAO headline the Cherrytree Pop Alternative Tour in March 2012.

Following their sold-out November UK shows, the hip-hop duo will return in March 2012 bringing their kinetic "Party Rock" as the tour’s headliners. Four dates have been confirmed so far, however, more dates are expected to be announced in the coming weeks.

The duo formed in 2006 in Los Angeles, California, and consist of DJ/rappers Redfoo, (Stefan Kendal Gordy) and SkyBlu (Skyler Gordy). Incorporating a theme of partying and drinking, LMFAO commonly refer to their music as "party rock".

LMFAO released their second full-length studio album, 'Sorry For Party Rocking', earlier this year in June and supported Ke$ha on her World tour, which included a run of UK gigs in August.

Special Guests on the tour included Far East Movement and Colette Carr. Far East Movement, who will be release their sophomore album in early 2012, will join the tour to introduce European fans to some of their new music and play the hits from their rookie CD Free Wired including 'Like A G6', 'Rocketeer' and 'If I Was You (OMG)'.

Colette Carr's brand of Malibu-flavored "hip-pop" blends early Eminem with classic Cindi Lauper. The video for her latest single, 'No I.D.' with label mate and frequent collaborator Frankmusik, is a throwback to the 1978 film Grease-meets a mutant glee. Colette recently hit Number 1 on Billboard's Uncharted Chart and topped MTV.com's playlist with her video 'Back It Up.'.

LMFAO Live UK Dates (Cherrytree Pop Alternative Tour) are as follows:

March 2012

Mar 7th - Manchester Academy
Mar 8th - O2 Shepherds Bush Empire London
Mar 9th - O2 Academy Birmingham
Mar 10th - O2 ABC Glasgow
