Sonisphere Organisers Reveal Spanish And Finnish Line-Ups

There has finally been some announcements from the Sonisphere Festival organisers today – but unfortunately for UK fans, they’re regarding the Spanish and Finnish versions of the metal festival.

It’s been revealed today that Metallica, Slayer, Skindred, Mastodon, Soundgarden, Within Temptation, Children of Bodom, Kyuss Lives!, Clutch, Ghost, Gojira, Sister and Orange Goblin will all be performing at Spain’s instalment of the world-famous event, which is held from May 25th to May 26th in Getafe.

Finnish metalheads will be treated to the likes of Metallica, Machine Head, Amorphis, Gojira, and Ghost, with the festival taking place on Monday 4th June at Helsinki Fish Harbour. Tickets for Finland’s Sonisphere go on sale February 6th, while Spain’s will be available for purchase on January 31st.

The announcements of the Spanish and Finnish festival line-ups gives UK fans hope that they may see an announcement from the organisers soon, but as of yet, nothing official has been said. Stereoboard has taken a look at what band’s could be likely to play, though, so if you fancy checking speculative but educated guesses at who’ll be on the bill, check out our feature article here.
