The Staves Announce UK & Ireland Headline Tour & Details On New 'The Motherlode' EP

London trio The Staves have announced details of a new EP for the Spring, with a UK and Ireland headline tour to coincide with its release.
The Staves will release 'The Motherlode' EP on the 2nd April, featuring 3 new tracks, before commencing their tour in Bristol on the 15th April and culminating with a show at The Ballroom in Brighton on the 2nd May. These shows follow their current sold-out tour of the UK and Ireland with Michael Kiwanuka, and their U.S. Austin to Boston Communion tour in March with Ben Howard.
The Staves UK & Ireland 2012 UK Tour Dates are as follows:
15th April – Bristol, Louisiana
16th April – Glasgow, Oran Mor
17th April – Edinburgh, Pleasance Theatre
18th April – Liverpool, Kazimier
19th April – Newcastle, Cluny
21st April – Leeds, Brudenell Social Club
22nd April – Manchester, Deaf Institute
23rd April – Belfast, McHughs Basement
24th April – Dublin, Sugar Club
25th April – Cork, Cyprus Avenue
28th April – Cambridge, Portland Arms
29th April – Birmingham, Glee Club
30th April – Portsmouth, Wedgewood
1st May – London, Tabernacle
2nd May – Brighton, Ballroom
The Staves Tickets are on sale today, Friday 24th February, at 12.00pm, priced at £8.00 (Brighton £7.50) for all UK dates.
