Dre Dre And Snoop Dogg To Take Hologram Tupac On Tour?

Hip-hop superstars Dr Dre and Snoop Dogg impressed the world on Sunday (April 15th) after they performed with deceased rapper Tupac Shakur, who was brought back to life as a futuristic holograph. Now, the rap world wants just one thing - to see Tupac Shakur touring once again, albeit as a hologram. And, apparently, the a tour may well be in the pipeline.

Dre and Snoop made hip-hop history with the performance and got the whole world talking about the endless possibilities that holograms could bring us - with the star even getting his own Twitter account, @HologramTupac. But, the one question that remained on everyones lips is this: 'Will hologram Tupac be able to tour?'

Now, the Wall Street Journal has claimed to have been in touch with a source close to the pair of rappers - and said that Snoop and Dre are seriously considering a way to take Pac on the road with them. The potential stadium tour would feature rap royalty like Eminem, 50 Cent and Wiz Khalifa, while a smaller tour would see Pac with just Dogg and Dre.

Speaking about the hologram and their plans, Ed Ulbrich - chief creative officer for Digital Domain, the company behind the hologram - said: "To create a completely synthetic human being is the most complicated thing that can be done. This is not found footage. This is not archival footage. This is an illusion. This is just the beginning. Dre has a massive vision for this."
