Rihanna Lands Acting Role As Fast And Furious Villain

Barbados-born beauty Rihanna has reportedly earned herself a role as the villain in the latest installment in ‘The Fast and the Furious’ series, according to a report from The Sun.
The singer-turned-actress only made her film debut earlier in the year when she appeared in the new film ‘Battleship’, which came earlier this month, but will now try her hand as the antagonist in the sixth film of the ‘Fast and Furious’ series after impressing the film’s writers in her premier appearance.
The newspaper reported: “Rihanna impressed with her acting debut in Battleship. Writers think she’ll be perfect for the role. Her character has plenty of bite and doesn’t take any prisoners — just like her in real life. It’s a step up the ladder for her and could lead to bigger action roles.”
The new film is set to hit cinemas in 2013 but will be filmed during the summer months. It’ll apparently be set in the UK, with most scenes set to be filmed in London and Southend.
