X-Factor boyband One Direction have told their fans that they're working on some 'amazing' new material for the past couple of weeks, and that they 'can't wait' for their fans to hear it.
After a manic past year, which has seen them rise from reality TV boyband to international superstars, the boys have finally returned to the studio to begin work on what will be their second record, and it appears they've been working on some exciting new stuff.
Posting through his Twitter page, One Direction's Liam Payne wrote: “Morning recording has been going amazing having a great time and can't wait for you to hear some of the stuff hope we make you proud xxxxxx”
He's not the only 1D star who's keeping fans up-to-date on the band, with Niall Horan also posting via his Twitter page: “sitting writing a song with @louis_tomlinson ,@harry_styles and@real_liam_payne while @zaynmalik is in booth recording his bit on a tuuuune.”
