Robert Plant Indicates Another Led Zeppelin Reunion: "I've Got Nothing To Do In 2014."

Led Zeppelin frontman Robert Plant has indicated that he is open to another reunion gig with bandmates Jimmy Page, John Paul Jones and new drummer Jason Bonham.

After distancing himself from Zeppelin, in a recent interview with Australia's 60 Minutes TV show Robert Plant claimed that he is now open to another reunion show stating: "I've got nothing to do in 2014."

While discussing the last time Led Zep reunited on stage, a one-off benefit gig at London's O2 Arena, Plant said: "[In 2007] we just wanted to play and see what it was like and be good once. It was time to be good – and we were."

The hugely popular show, which was recently screened at cinemas across the world before being immortalised on the 'Celebration Day' DVD and CD, took place on 10th December 2007 and was the last time Led Zeppelin performed together.

Speaking to presenter Tara Brown, Robert Plant said the decision to reunite again would lie with Jimmy Page and John Paul Jones. Brown continued to quiz Plant about another reunion, claiming that he was the reason why the band hasn't reformed permanently.

"[You're] the bad guy," she said.

"I'm not the bad guy," Plant replied.

"Well you are for all those Led Zeppelin fans who'd love you to say, 'Yes, we're re-forming.'"

"Well, then you need to speak to [Page and Jones] the Capricorns. Cos I've got nothing to do in 2014."

Robert Plant has been busy making music with Alison Krauss and more recently his new band, Band of Joy. Such a public statement has now led fans to believe Plant has changed his stance on reforming Led Zeppelin, after he quashed rumours back in 2008 of anything permanent happening.

Jason Bonham, Led Zeppelin drummer and son of the band's original drummer the legendary John Bonham, revealed back in 2010 that Zeppelin got "real close" to touring without Plant. "We did a year of writing and putting stuff together." It's believed Steven Tyler and Myles Kennedy among those who auditioned to become the new vocalist for the band.
