Tuesday, 28 April 2026 Written by Jon Stickler

A headliner and more than 20 other acts have joined the bill for The Long Road Festival.

The country, Americana and roots music celebration will host its seventh edition at its regular venue, Stanford Hall in Leicestershire, over the summer Bank Holiday weekend.

Country-pop star Maren Morris (pictured) leads the latest wave of acts announced, headlining on Sunday night (August 30) with a UK exclusive show, joining the previously confirmed Bailey Zimmerman, who headlines on Saturday (August 29) with his first UK performance in over two years.

Other new additions to the line-up include The Shires, Stella Prince, Harleymoon Kemp, Harper O'Neil, Chanel Yates, Shaylen, Simon Howard, Hayley Jensen, Chandler Walters, First Time Flyers, Emily Scott Robinson, Susto Stringband, Lizzie No, Twinnie, Dawson Anderson, Errol Linton, Knucklehead, Luca Fogale, Outpost Drive, Dan Byrne, Riley Downing, Ryan and Rory, and Jonny Morgan & The Moral Support. Festival co-founder Baylen Leonard said:

"We couldn't be more excited to welcome the fearless and peerless Maren Morris to TLR this year! A storyteller, a mold breaker, and an absolute authentic powerhouse with a catalogue of smash hits and singalong anthems that is sure to make it a night to remember. I'm sure I won't be alone in getting on someone's shoulders to wave my hands back and forth and scream sing My Church! Can't wait!"

Previously announced acts for this year's festival range from legendary performers to rising artists and new voices, including Emmylou Harris, Steve Earle, The 502s, Josh Ross, Jim Lauderdale, Shakey Graves, The Felice Brothers, Uncle Lucius, Striking Matches and Oliver Hazard. There will also be performances across the weekend from Zandi Holup, Jason Scott & The High Heat, Kezia Gill, The Hanging Stars, Rose Betts, Trevor Moss & Hannah-Lou and Liam Price, the latter was the winner of the festival's inaugural Homegrown Talent Contest last year, which will return at this year’s event to showcase the current crop of new artists. Applications for the 2026 contest will launch soon.

There will also be stage takeovers from Loose Music Records, Snakefarm Records and Oh Boy! Records across the weekend.

Beyond the musical line-up, festival-goers can experience American-style street food and BBQ from Red Dog Saloon, craft beers, classic cars and bikes, line dancing, campfires, vintage rides, dog shows, family activities, Country-oke, and more.
