Manic Street Preachers Suggest They May Cut Live Hiatus Short

Welsh rock icons Manic Street Preachers have suggested that their live hiatus may be cut short - because they’re far too keen to get back on the stage and perform!
James Dean Bradfield and co. released their last album ‘Postcards from a Young Man’ in 2010, and after putting on a massive gig in London’s O2 Arena in December 2011, the band revealed that they’d be taking at least two years off - Nicky Wire was even quoted as saying ‘we're gonna disappear for quite a long time’.
But, just over a year after the O2 Arena gig, the band have revealed via Twitter that they want to start performing again - sooner rather than later.
Desperate to do a show in the uk again- feels like an eternity since the amazing 02gig-might have to break our 2yr curfew by a few months x
Any new gigs would see the band performing some of the tracks that will make up their highly-anticipated next album, which we reported about last year.
The band are currently in the studio working on music, and they’ve been giving updates through their Twitter account:
M.S.P were in the great Hansa Studios in january with alex silva (who recorded the holy bible with us)-berlin was inspirational xx
If you’re a fan of the band, it looks like you’ll be getting a lot of good news in the coming months - if you want to stay up-to-date on the band, stay with Stereoboard!
