Richard Branson's Virgin Atlantic will be staging live gigs on domestic flights in the UK.
According to the Telegraph, live bands will join a series of stand-up comedians on flights this month, as part of the plans for Virgin Atlantic's new domestic airline Little Red, which flies from London to Edinburgh, Aberdeen, and Manchester.
Revealing that he wants to 'shake-up domestic flying in the UK', Branson said that the bands who'll be performing will be announced via Facebook - but which flight they're on will remain a mystery.
Branson said:
"In true Virgin Atlantic spirit we're doing something a little different and providing our passengers with a line-up of gigs to ensure we offer a truly unforgettable flying experience on Little Red."
What do you think of the news, and who would you like to see performing on the flights? Maybe Foo Fighters could play 'Learn to Fly', or Busted could get back together for a rendition of 'Air Hostess'? Leave us a comment in the box below!
