Following the success of their first ever UK tour in November 2013, Brooklyn-based San Fermin are set to return to Europe for a series of live dates in April and May 2014, including a show at London’s Village Underground on May 7.
Helmed by 24-year old composer and songwriter Ellis Ludwig-Leone, San Fermin released their self-titled debut album in November 2013 via Downtown Records. The album gained worldwide critical acclaim and was lauded as one of the most remarkable debuts of 2013.
Since recording the album with over twenty musicians, the band has coalesced into a core of eight members including Ludwig-Leone: Rae Cassidy and Allen Tate on lead vocals; Rebekah Durham, vocals/violin; John Brandon, trumpet; Stephen Chen, saxophone; Tyler McDiarmid, guitar; and Michael Hanf, drums.
