Onslaught Announce July UK Tour

Tuesday, 18 February 2014 Written by Jon Stickler

British thrash legends Onslaught have announced details of a six date UK tour for July.

The band returned in September 2013 with their sixth album, 'VI', their third album since their return to the thrash scene in 2004, their second record with bassist Jeff Williams and first with drummer Michael Hourihan.

The album served as the follow up to their 2011 record 'Sounds of Violence'. Speaking about the latest record, guitarist Nige Rockett said:

"We really pushed ourselves to the limits in making this record and I think that truly shines through in the final results. 'VI’ is the most brutal and technical album Onslaught has ever made no question, it's  ‘Old School, it's contemporary and it's fucking aggressive in the extreme, with a few big suprises thrown in for good measure!"

Onslaught hit the road starting at Newcastle O2 Academy on July 16, before visiting Glasgow, Sheffield, Bristol, London and Birmingham.

Onslaught UK & Ireland Tour Dates are as follows

Wed July 16 2014 - NEWCASTLE UPON TYNE O2 Academy Newcastle
Thu July 17 2014 - GLASGOW O2 ABC Glasgow
Fri July 18 2014 - SHEFFIELD O2 Academy Sheffield
