The suspect in the fatal SXSW car crash has been identified as Rashad Charjuan Owens.
Austin local Jamie West, 27, and Steven Craenmehr, a 35-year-old music executive from Amsterdam, were killed in the incident and a further 23 hospitalised in the early hours of Thursday morning, Spin confirmed.
According to the Austin Police Department, Owens is "facing two counts of capital murder and multiple counts of aggravated assault with a motor vehicle".
