Gary Numan will warm up for his appearance at Sonisphere with a show at Preston's 53 Degrees.
The electro pioneer will turn out alongside headliners Metallica, Iron Maiden and the Prodigy at Knebworth Park between July 4 and 6 and will also play this summer's Alt-Fest.
In addition, Numan has a date at Hammersmith Apollo in the diary for November following the release of his 20th studio album, 'Splinter (Songs from a Broken Mind)', last year. Tickets for his Preston show are on sale at 9am on April 14, priced at £26.00.
