Pete Townshend Announces Classic Quadrophenia At London's Royal Albert Hall

Pete Townshend has announced details of a new orchestral version of the Who’s 1973 album, 'Quadrophenia'.

The new take on the rock opera was orchestrated by Rachel Fuller and will be released by Deutsche Grammophon next summer, with a world premiere concert at London's Royal Albert Hall on July 5. Tickets are on sale at 9am on December 5, priced at £35.00, plus fees.

Conducted by Robert Ziegler, the show will feature the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra and the London Oriana Choir and stars Pete Townshend and Alfie Boe, who will sing parts originally performed by Roger Daltrey.
