Grateful Dead Members And John Mayer Join Forces For Dead And Company New York City Shows

Members of the Grateful Dead will return to the stage in a new supergroup with John Mayer.
Mickey Hart, Bill Kreutzmann and Bob Weir have teamed up with Mayer to form a new band, dubbed Dead & Company, with two shows confirmed at New York City's Madison Square Garden on October 31 and November 1. Completing the band's line up isAllman Brothers band member OteilBurbridge on bass and longtime Dead associate Jeff Chimenti on keyboards.
The Grateful Dead reunited earlier this summer for their Fare Thee Well tour, which saw the band play their final shows while also celebrating their 50th anniversary in Chicago, Santa Clara and California.
