'AUDACITY' will feature the Dallas-born, Pasadena-raised artist's recent pop-R&B singles Sugar Trap and Attaboy!, though its 11-song tracklist has yet to be revealed, and is set for release on September 25 via Def Jam Records/RAEDIO.
Co-produced by Dallas Caton and featuring writing from MNEK, whose previous credits include Zara Larsson, Beyoncé and Dua Lipa, the album unfolds in a fictional world called Auda City, shaped by Stephens and Creative Director Cass Meyers with female empowerment at its core. Stephens explained:
"'AUDACITY' is me daring to take up as much space as I want in a world that has tried to box me in both personally and professionally. The songs on this album put my ambitious, aggressive, and even at times avoidant tendencies on display; rather than run from it, I’ll always have the audacity to tell it exactly how I see it, even if it can sometimes paint me as the villain in my own story."
The album follows Stephens' 'SELLOUT' and 'SELLOUT II' EPs, released in 2024 and 2025, respectively, as well as her most recent 'TOTAL SELLOUT' companion project, which collects the music from both EPs alongside four new tracks.
Having played US dates with FLO, and taken her SELLOUT Tour to Chicago's Lollapalooza on Saturday (August 1), Stephens will tour Europe and the UK this autumn supporting Khalid. Tickets are on sale now.
