Pussy Riot Share Video For New Track Chaika

Wednesday, 03 February 2016 Written by Laura Johnson

Pussy Riot have shared a video for their new track, Chaika.

The song, on which they collaborated with TV On the Radio’s Dave Sitek, is aimed at Russia's top law enforcement official, general prosecutor Yuri Chaika, whom they allege is corrupt and has criminal connections. Check out the video, directed by Andrey Fenøčka and Pussy Riot’s Nadya Tolokonnikova, below, along with a short note from the band.

"Pussy Riot's clip is inspired by the biggest political story in Russia - the recently uncovered bloody criminal connections and unbelievable corruption of Russia's top law enforcement official - the General Prosecutor Yuri Chaika. Pussy Riot demands an immediate investigation against General Prosecutor Chaika and his family, as well as against all the top officials in his office."
