Formed in 2011, the band gained notoriety across the world for their unauthorized, guerrilla performances, spreading their views on issues such as feminism, LGBT rights and the policies of Russian president Vladimir Putin. To date, they have released a string of standalone singles, as well as the 'RAGE' remix album in 2021. Pussy Riot present: Riot Days will tour across North America in November and December 2023. The trek is based on founding member Maria Alyokhina's memoir of the same name, with each show combining live music, theatre, and video as she recounts her experiences protesting with the Russian punk collective.
