John Lydon—otherwise known by his stage name Johnny Rotten—is a vocalist and musician from London.
Best recognised as the lead singer of iconic punk band The Sex Pistols, he is also known for his work with post-rock group Public Image Ltd, which he found in 1978 following the initial disbandment of the Sex Pistols. In his subsequent years, Lydon has worked as a solo artist, releasing his debut album, 'Psycho's Path', in 1997 and a compilation album titled 'The Best Of British £1 Notes' in 2005, which chronicled his solo work, alongside the material that he released with both the Sex Pistols and PIL. He has also released two successful autobiographies, the first being 1994's Rotten, which was followed by Anger Is an Energy: My Life Uncensored in 2014. John Lydon will bring an evening of spoken word, stories and audience Q&As across the UK in spring 2024. Catch him live by checking tour dates and ticket information below on Stereoboard.
