Sleeping with Sirens are an American post-hardcore outfit hailing from Orlando, Florida. Formed in 2009 after members of For All We Know, Broadway, and We Are Defiance got together to form a kind of hardcore supergroup, they’ve already amassed a global following.
Consisting of frontman Kellin Quinn, guitarist Jack Fowler, bassist Justin Hills, and drummer Gabe Barham, Sleeping with Sirens released their debut album, ‘With Ears to See and Eyes to Hear’, in 2010 to critical acclaim, but it was their 2011 record ‘Let’s Cheers to This’ that saw them break into the Billboard 200.
The band returned with their third album, ‘Feel’, in 2013, hitting the Top 3 in the US and later embarking on their biggest tour yet. They returned to the UK in summer 2014 for an appearance at Reading and Leeds Festivals, and really put themselves on the map internationally.
Putting out their fourth studio album, 'Madness', back in March 2015, Sleeping with Sirens would team up with Pierce the Veil for a co-headline tour of the UK in spring 2015, after the pair toured North America earlier in the year.
Sleeping With Sirens released a brand new album, 'Gossip', in September 2017, which they've been touring across North America. They've also headed to Australia alongside Chase Atlantic, Lower Than Atlantis, and The Faim in 2018 too, before reaching Europe.
Following all that touring, Sleeping With Sirens have confirmed a stripped back acoustic tour, dubbed 'The Chill Out Summer Acoustic Tour', featuring special guests The Rocket Summer, for summer 2018. I saw Sleeping With Sirens last month and it was insane! The show was amazing, the band gave an amazing performance! The crowd were going crazy throughout the whole show and at one point I found myself at the edge of a mosh-pit which I wasn't too pleased about, haha.
My favourite part of the show was when the band sang two of their most popular songs at the end called 'Feel' and 'If You Cant Hang'. The atmosphere was incredible!
