Pete Burns, vocalist with ‘80s synth-pop stars Dead or Alive, has died aged 57.
The band enjoyed their finest hour in 1984 when You Spin Me Round (Like A Record) hit number one in the UK and reached the upper reaches of the US chart.
In a statement released on Twitter, Burns’ manager confirmed he died of a “massive cardiac arrest”.
