Joesef Enlists Loyle Carner For New Collaborative Track I Wonder Why

Joesef has dropped a new single.
The introspective, soulful I Wonder Why blends a retro production and warm, smooth tones from the Glasgow vocalist before opening up to a heartfelt guest verse from London hip hop star Loyle Carner. Give it a spin below. Of the collaboration, Joesef said:
“I never work with anyone at all but my mates and I are Loyle’s biggest fans so it was a real dream come true to be able to hear him on a song I’d made, and to hear his lyrics and how he interpreted it in his own way. He’s really is up there with the best for me, and he’s a complete gent to add so I’m buzzing with how it’s came together.
“[I Wonder Why] is about losing someone and going through the motions trying to shake the thought of them not being around anymore. It’s still pretty heavy to handle for me sometimes, but I do love it.”
Elsewhere, Joesef recently moved his headline UK and Ireland tour to May 2021 in response to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic. Original tickets will be honoured, and remaining tickets are on sale now.
