Tom DeLonge Posts Illenium Collaboration Paper Thin

Friday, 23 October 2020 Written by Jon Stickler

Tom DeLonge has teamed up with Illenium for a new single, Paper Thin.

The collaboration marks DeLonge's first electronic outing and arrives after the former Blink-182 guitarist teased the track on October 19, posting to social media the apocalyptic artwork and its release date. Take a look above.

"Paper Thin was really a dream project for me," Illenium said. "I got to collaborate with one of my favorite artists ever, Tom DeLonge. I feel like it has the nostalgic pop punk vibes but also really incorporates my sound. I think the blend sounds amazing and I’m so stoked with how this one turned out!…"

Notably, the track is credited to Illenium, DeLonge and his band Angels and Airwaves. It follows their spring single All That's Left Is Love which helped raise funds for Feeding America's COVID-19 Response Fund.
