Skrillex has returned with his first new music in two years.

The house-leaning Butterflies rolls out over Four Tet-assisted production, interspersed with glitching vocal samples, and powerhouse verses delivered by Starrah.

Four Tet shared further details of the collaboration with a post on Instagram, revealing that the track was recorded in February 2020 and finished just a few days ago. He also announced that an extended version of Butterflies is available on Beatport.

It follows the 2019 Skrillex single Midnight Hour, which featured Ty Dolla $ign and Boys Noize. The producer also features on Ty Dolla $ign's 2020 star-studded affair Ego Death. Four Tet, meanwhile, released a joint album with Madlib in January called 'Sound Ancestors'.
