Unknown Mortal Orchestra Announce UK And North American Tours, Share New Single

Unknown Mortal Orchestra have announced new tours in the UK and North America.
The latter trek will kick off on March 20 at the Knitting Factory Spokane, and the former will feature stops in Bexhill-on-Sea, London, Manchester, Leeds and Glasgow between May 30 and June 17. Tickets go on sale at 10am local time on October 28.
Alongside news of the shows, the Ruban Nielson-led band have shared a new single, I Killed Captain Cook. It's the first preview of a new double album due out in 2023, though further details on the follow-up to 2018's 'IC-01 Hanoi' are yet to be confirmed.
The stripped back, guitar-led song tells the story of a Hawaiian that killed Captain James Cook, the English explorer who attempted to kidnap the King Of Hawaii. Check out the video below, which features Nielson's mother (former Miss Aloha Hula 1973), Deedee Aipolani Nielson.
