Wednesday have announced their third album.

Written in the months immediately after the completion of their 2021 record 'Twin Plagues', 'Rat Saw God' is due out on April 7, marking their first for Dead Oceans.

As a preview, the North Carolina band have shared the single Chosen To Deserve, a six-minute shoegazey, alt-country song that comes with a video from director Spencer Kelly. Vocalist Karly Hartzman commented:

"Chosen to Deserve is a writing exercise I gave myself to try to recreate the iconic song by Drive-By Truckers Let There Be Rock but with my own experiences from growing up and fucking around and getting into stupid shit. The video directed by Spencer Kelly shows the setting of my upbringing and antics: my parents' neighborhood in Greensboro, NC and Lake Myers RV Resort."

The 10-track LP will also feature the 2022 single Bull Believer. They'll support the release with spring tour dates in North America, Europe and the UK.

1. Hot Grass Smell
2. Bull Believer
